Independence
Our reviews and scores reflect the honest opinion of our writers. No developer, publisher or advertiser can pay for a positive review, a higher score or removal of criticism.
Review copies
Sometimes publishers provide free copies of games or apps for review. Receiving a review copy never guarantees coverage or a positive review. When we review a product received for free, we treat it exactly like a product we bought ourselves.
Advertising and affiliate links
PlayVerdict may show advertising to cover running costs. Advertising is managed separately from editorial decisions. If we ever use affiliate links or sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled, and it will never affect review scores.
Accuracy and corrections
We work hard to keep information accurate. Game prices, features and platforms change often, so we recommend checking official stores before buying. If you spot a mistake, please contact us. We correct factual errors as quickly as possible.
Updates to reviews
For games that change significantly after launch, we may update a review to reflect the current state of the game. Where a change affects our recommendation, the score may also change.
